Hayfever Symptoms

Non-urgent advice: Managing your symptoms

Hayfever (seasonal allergic rhinitis) can cause sneezing, a runny or blocked nose, itchy eyes, and headaches.
Symptoms vary but are usually worse in high pollen seasons (March – September).
Most people can manage hayfever with over-the-counter antihistamines or nasal sprays. However, if your symptoms have not improved following over-the-counter antihistamines and are still affecting your daily life, speak to a GP.
